Small hands-on workshops that are focused on one topic provide an excellent learning environment for attendees. This workshop will provide easy to digest educational nuggets and “on-site fixes” for content marketers who want are wanting to leave a workshop feeling they have accomplished something rather than pages of notes they cannot decipher.

Learning will be through a slide presentation, live SEO site audits, and one-on-one discussions. Checklists and templates will be provided.

Attendees should leave the workshop with an understanding of how SEO works, best practices for executing SEO elements, how to build on existing SEO efforts, and how to develop / analyze SEO / traffic related reports.

Mastering SEO Workshop Learning Objectives

At the end of the Mastering SEO Workshop, attendees should be able to:

  • Differentiate between technical SEO, on-site SEO, on-page SEO, and off-site SEO
  • Execute best SEO practices
  • Create a content development calendar
  • Develop a content marketing plan
  • Determine if Yoast settings are appropriate for individual sites
  • Navigate the basics of Google Webmaster Tools (aka Search Console) and Google Analytics
  • Identify keywords to use for articles
  • Improve existing articles
  • Site cleanup and maintenance as related to SEO
  • Decipher SEO reports
  • Maintain and analyze stat tracking to improve organic growth
  • Calculate revenue per organic visitor

Please note:

  • The minimum number of attendees for each workshop varies by city due to venue costs.
  • The maximum number of attendees is 20 per workshop (per trainer onsite) for a maximum of 40 learners.
